Targeted Actions to Graduation - TAG

2020-2021 Enrollment Update:  All Jeffco Virtual Academy students will be 100% online to start the school year. 
We will develop opportunities for on-campus support based on public health guidelines, but will not require any student in any program to report to campus until further notice.

his is a blended model where TAG students, who are significantly behind on credits.  Normally, students attend on campus each Tuesday from 9am - 1:30pm and learn online the rest of the week.  The team works at an accelerated rate to get back on track for graduation.


Course Catalogs

TAG is a specialized program designed to provide smaller class sizes, a dedicated group of close-knit content teachers and a strong sense of community.  Our quarter credit system allows students to work toward credit recovery at an accelerated rate.  Students are approved for TAG by our administration - limited space available.

Enrollment Requirements*:

  • Reside in Colorado
  • Must be at least 17 years old and no older than 21 years of age
  • Not be enrolled in a school outside of Jeffco
  • Students must be in 11th or 12th grade
  • Students must have earned a minimum of 10 high school credits to date
  • Successfully complete JVA's enrollment process
  • Enroll in a minimum of 3 courses each quarter 
  • When Health Requirements allow: Attend in-person at JVA (address) on Tuesdays from 9am - 1:30pm
  • Participate in standardized testing at JVA (address):
    • PSAT (grades 9 & 10),
    • CMAS (grades 6-8 & 11), and
    • SAT (grade 11)

Failure to disclose a learning plan (504, IEP, etc) could result in us rescinding our approval for your student to enroll at Jeffco's Virtual Academy.
