As part of your Individual Career & Academic Plan (ICAP) at Jeffco Virtual Academy, we have a program for all 9th graders called Freshman Academy. Freshman Academy occurs once per month and is run by the counseling department. We will cover important information about high school and after high school life. These lessons will be VIRTUAL, using Zoom, (not in-person). Our time is divided into two sections: the Social Zoom (1:30-2:00) and the Monthly Topic (2:00-3:30). Go to your Advisement course for more information and the login
The transition from middle school to high school can seem scary to teens going into ninth grade, but don't worry the JVA Freshman Academy is here to help! The program helps full time incoming 9th graders adjust to the new high school environment. The Freshman Academy meets the first Tuesday of every month from 1:30-3:00pm. All full time JVA freshmen are required to participate. The link will be posted in the Student Group and a your Advisement course.
